Participant Criteria

  • Each team represents its faculty.

  • Members of the team must be an active university student and registered within the faculty that they are representing.

  • The competition is open for Natural Science and Social Science Majors.

  • Participants can only represent one team within the competition.

  • Participants must not be a professional player or an ex-professional player and part of the national team

Team Limitation

  • Each team members must consist minimum of 12 players and a maximum of 15 players

  • During the competition, the maximum team players that play on the court is 12 players. The minimum players that must attend are 5 players. If the players that come are less than 5 players, then the team is considered Walk Out.

Payment

  • The down payment (DP) of 50% must be paid after the registration form is given.

  • The full payment must be paid no later than the Technical Meeting. If the full payment exceeds the Technical Meeting, then the team registration will be considered a drawback.

  • If there is a cancellation of participation before the Technical Meeting, only 30% of the registration fee will be returned.

  • If there is a cancellation of participation after the Technical Meeting, the registration fee will not be returned.

Walking Out (WO) deposit

  • The amount of walkout deposit is IDR 250.000,00

Standard rule

  • The rule that is applied refers to PERBASI (FIBA Rules 2018)

Other Rules

  • Each team and player must have a high value of sportively when competing in The 18th FEB UI Cup.

  • The decision of the referee is considered absolute.

  • The decision of The 18th FEB UI Cup committee is considered absolute and can not be changed.

  • Participants of The 18th FEB UI Cup have agreed to follow all the rules and regulation that has been appointed by The 18th FEB UI Cup committee.

How long is the maximum time delay?

The time delay will only be tolerated by 10 minutes. If the delay is more than 10 minutes, the team will get disqualified.

What kind of elimination system is used?

A pool elimination system will be used.

Where will the basketball match be held?

It will be held at GOR Pasar Minggu and GOR Ciracas

How much is the registration fee?

IDR 800.000 for the men's category

IDR 750.000 for the women's category

Can coaches and officials wear T-shirts?

No, coaches and officials must wear a collared shirt or polo shirt.
